And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence...
In February 2020, prior to the pandemic, our normal english liturgy was graced by a new brother in Christ who is half Guatemalteco and half Ethiopian. So that the good news could be maximally shared, I spent a few minutes in my broken Spanish feeding his kinfolk. There’s nothing like hearing the good news in your own tongue. See the acts of the apostles, when paul begins speaking in the hebrew (aramaic?) tongue.
