I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His sanctuary; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. (Revelation 7:14-15 NASB)

The Orthodox Synod of Ethiopians in Exile has sent these verses to feed its flocks of believers dispersed outside of their ancestral lands. As a sheep of one of said flocks, it is my duty to present their thoughts before I present mine.

His eminence, Head of the Archbishops Merqoreywos, says "all Ethiopians must put their differences aside, and cooperate through love and oneness (unity) for the peace, oneness and development of Ethiopia, and to justly lift this tribulation that has reached the Ethiopian peoples."
